Open Question: Is there any way i can get out?? PLEASE HELP?
I live with my mom and my younger brother...my mom has joint legal custody and full physical custody of me...i look my dad once or twice a week and he lives about 4 miles away from my mom....i want to go live with him really badly because me and my mom are always fighting and she has thrown things at me and hit me with things and is constantly calling me bad names..me and my dad never have these problems...so my dad is going through the court to receive custody of me but that will take months and i want to live with him now because i cant stand another day at this home! Sometimes i want to call the police but i never have...so now im asking, what will happen if i call the police and then tell them that i am taking physical, emotional, and probly psychological abuse from my mom and that i want to stay with my dad, at least for a few nights?? Will i be able to go with him then?? Im getting desperate for a way out!!! Btw, im 2 months from being 17 and i live in the state of hawaii

My wife and I are thinking about sailing to Hawaii when we retire we still have along time to go b4 we retire, but like to plan ahead. right now we have no experience but plan on taking classes and sailing when ever we can. we plan to live in our boat, and sail to hawaii and up and down the coast maybe somewhere tropical who knows... anyways we would like to hear your experiences sailing to hawaii, what we would need to do to receive ready for the trip and how many people you traveled with if any.

Open Question: How to get rid of my love handles?
Hi I'm 17, 5'6 and I weigh about 115 pounds which isn't that much. But for some reason even though I am skinny overall I have really big in-proportionate adore handles. Like my arms, chest, butt and legs are every fine but for some reason I have big adore handles (and it's not like the bone of my waist/hips are actually super thick. It's every fat). Open Question: Did I have a miscarriage?
I was in Hawaii for vacation and I was feeling really weird. I was before I left too but I assumed it was just stress caused my the travel plans. I did think that i might be pregnant but I was distracted by the trip so I brushed it off. I knew that it was a good posibility because I had unprotected sex about 2-3 weeks before. I was in Hawaii for 3 weeks. I was getting easily motion sick, bad cramps, head aches, exhausted, not hungry, very emotional, constipated, every of the symptoms were there. But I was with a big group of people and I didnt want to take a test. I accepted the fact that I was pregnant but was determined to like my vacation. I started bleeding a few days later, then i became concerned. I bled for 2 weeks it was nothing like my periods normally are. usually i bleed every 28 days for 3 days and its light. This was over 2 weeks, heavy flow, felt sick, cramps. Finally I took a test and it was negative. When I got home i went to the doctor and they said I was not pregnant. But i had gained a lot of weight so it may have been a miscarrige or my BC pill was wrong for me (I have been on this pill for 1 year). I am almost positive that i miscarried but i would like another opinion. Also keep in mind that I was hiking 5 to 10 miles a day while I was in hawaii and I was not eating healthy or sleeping well, I was also very dehydrated and stressed.

Am I right in thinking, that the maximum time difference between 2 places on earth is 23 hours? For example, if it's the 23rd of March (6 AM) in New Zealand, it should be 22nd March 7AM in Hawaii?

Hi, I live in a country, my closest neighbour (besides our hired man) lives 2-5 minutes away from me. We have beaches, just, horrible, smelly ones with chemical from piviots in it. Except 4 1, but its not what I like. Its in a lake... And, I feel lost. Country isnt what I like. Its not who I am. I like city's just, their kinda wearing off on me. I want a town, not very big, 1 where every1 knows every1. Its by the ocean. It has lots of nature. Its nice, pretty and has a beach, its kinda like a fishingtown... I watched this movie... HOOT. Where it was shot, I loved the place so much! It was shot in Boca Grande. I mean, The town/city looks big, but the place, the beach, where the blonde hair dude, took the black hair dude for a boat ride, I loved it! I dont know why, But im alot happier when iM BY THE OCEAN. I miss Hawaii so much! But I want somewhere with more nature... Boca Grande, the beach, looks amazing! My family, we are potatoe farmers. And the closest city is half an hour away. the closest little town thing, hic town? Is 15 minutes away. And, the country isnt who I am. I adore being by the water! It makes me feel amazing! I feel great when Im in/by the ocean! We went 2 Hawaii for 14 days. I loved it so much! But, I kinda want more nature. Boca Grande seems perfect! But, I dont want 2 move from Canada. Away from every my friends. But, I've been feeling unhappy lately. If we lived by an ocean, I would be alot more active. I wouldn't be bored every the time. I mean, I dont feel like myself here. In the country, where most/every of my friends live 30-60 minutes away from me. I feel so down about not being by the ocean lately. Im taking baths more so I can be underwater more. I adore swimming! I adore nature! I adore the ocean! I feel like I can be who I am by the ocean. I mean, I feel so down about it lately, im crying. I dont tell my parents, I know we arent going to move. Just, I want to like being by the beach when Im a kid, and can do every sorts of stuff and adult wouldn't do. I dont want 2 wait until I can move and be by myself. I want 2 go now! The ocean is who I am! that movie HOOT made me feel really bad. I loved that movie, just, It brought back how I felt in Hawaii. I feel nice of trapped. I dont want 2 walk thorugh stuff I look everyday just by walking out of our yard. I want 2 go 4 a swim whenever! I want warm weather 99% of the time! I want every that! I miss the ocean soo bad! Its who I am and I can really feel myself there! I dont want 2 tell my parents how i feel cause it will make them feel bad about me not feeling free here. I dont want 2 move because my family lives by us! My Opa seems close 2 death, like he was 2-3 years ago. And I want 2 c him most sundays. And every my other family. My whole family lives in alberta, except my grandma and grandma and aunt and uncle. And I dont want to live so far away. But I want 2 express myself. Im a christian and when Im by the ocean, I feel God through everything. Anyway, if you want to know details please comment. I was supposed 2 go on a mission trip a few weeks ago; to Nicaragua, but it got cancelled because not enough people wanted 2 go :( But, anyway, I Find I can feel God close the ocean. Or by water in particular. But I feel his strongly by the ocean. I dont know why. I fell in adore with the ocean and every its creatures because what God has created is so beautiful! And thats why I adore the ocean so much! I would spend every the time there if I could! I feel God when Im by the ocean! Its the best thing ever! I am majoring in Marketing/Business. I am very fortunate to receive a very big inheritence. I have enough money for capital to start my possess business, a 20% down payment for a home selling for 500k and enough money to pay for my tuition until I graduate. I live in Honolulu, HI and fee simple homes are very expensive but its worth it, property taxes are low and because land is so limited and desirable property values increase at a really quick glue. Homes are also easier to sell in Hawaii. Many people have offered to buy my home even though we are not even considering of selling it. Hawaii is not a business friendly environment so I plan to move to Seattle to start my possess business. I have looked at homes for sale in Seattle/Bellevue area and the prices are very similar to Honolulu. I read an article that its actually cheaper to rent in Seattle than to possess because taxes for property is really high. Also I am not sure about Seattle's housing market, if its easier to sell a home. People says its better to possess but if I use the 20% down payment I have to expand my business, will I be making more money compared to paying a monthly mortgage payment higher than rent, not to mention high property taxes that I will not be able to liquidate when I sell my home. Selling a home is also a hassle. I guess it has to do with timing the market. Back in 1979 my dad purchased a home in an upscale neighborhood in Hawaii for 67,000 and now its worth 1.4 million dollars. I am not sure if Seattle has that potential but I am sure Hawaii does.

Okay so here's a question to every those guys out there. My pal and I looove british guys, their accents, their looks, everything. So I wanted to ask (plz dont judge me for asking a retarded question), what do british guys think of Hawaiians girls?. I've always wanted to go to Hawaii, but like most people I don't have a lot of money so I would be going to Hawaii on a very restricted budget. But I really want to have a "local" experience, not the typical "tourist" experience. I don't steer, so I won't be renting a car, so I would have to walk or use public transportation. "Their on a business trip for work, that's why Aunty Jess is looking after us." "When will they be back?" Abbie asked, tucking her knees up to copy me. "Tomorrow." I replied, before turning my attention back to the TV. "Oh, okay!" Abbie sung, and she rolled back onto the floor to play with her dolls again. The phone rang and I stretched my arm out to pick it up. I pressed answer before speaking calmly into the phone, "Hello?" "Livy?" Jess' voice sounded from the other end, she sounded as if she was in a rush, and she seemed to be panicking. "Yeah it's me," I said nervously, "Is something wrong?" "Are both you and Abbie home?" she cried, and I heard a door slam in the background from where she was. "Yeah, we're just watching TV. Why?" I replied, watching Abbie out of the corner of my eye. "Don't leave the home, wait for me to receive home and don't answer the phone or door if they ring!" she yelled. "Why?" I cried, checking the window for any burglars. "It's about your parents Livy," Jess muttered, and I could hear her running along, breathing heavily. "What about them? Their coming home tomorrow. Aren't they?" His videos receive millions of views, First christmas no1 album in 25 years. His movie broke box office records and he did that to inspire his fans. the list goes on. He doesn't even look gay? he's very handsome. His new haircut is really working for him and he's 17 give him a break. He does so much for charity, more than any other teen celebrity, he really cares about the world and stays true to himself. He's collaborated with SO many amazing artist including Mariah Carey, Chris Brown, Boys II Men, he sang for OBAMA when he was 15! If you still hate him i have nothing to say to you. i want to hear why you guys hate him so much? My mom hasn't been around much since I was three. Maybe once every month to two months. She travels a lot-not even for business. She doesn't keep in contact with me much and whenever we go out she acts like we're friends or whatever so she can pick up guys. She's my mom and I adore her, but my dad and I are so much closer. I'm going to Europe soon with my school soon and I'll be away from my dad for two weeks. It'll be the longest we'll be apart. I know it'll be good for us, but I'll miss him like crazy. This is every relevant because my mom has invited me to go to Hawaii this summer. For a month. To be honest, I don't want to go. For one, I don't want to be away from my dad for that long yet. It's not as far away as Europe but....still. Also, she does this so often. We go on a trip, even if it's short and then the whole time she'll either avoid me or even if she gives me the time of day, she'll go back to ignoring me shortly after. My dad says it's up to me. I'm gonna be sixteen by then. But I don't want this. However, I've tried to tell her and she tries to guilt me by saying that we don't receive to look each other much anymore and it'll be sooo great for us to spend time together. How do I tell her "no"? Keep in mind, I am NOT lying about why I can't go and by no circumstances am I going. She may be my only BIOLOGICAL mom, but she hasn't acted like one and has let me down time and time again since I was three years old. She's not gonna change and I'm done thinking she will. Open Question: What hobbies to take up?
I'm traveling out of state for the summer and need help finding hobbies. I'll be in Hawaii. I like music and vintage things, I play guitar. I'm creative, I like to paint. The only sport I continously watch is hockey, thought I'm fine with one on one sports. I don't play many video games. I like pets but they'd have to have a short life span for the summer as I can't transport it back (same with collecting big items, I'm taking a plane). I'm silent but I do like conversations. I also like science.

Open Question: How to lose weight on my thighs? 10 points!?
Im trying to lose weight in my inner thighs. im short so it looks chubby. I dont have time to exercise because i got school than pick up my siblings n we walk home n ihave to take care of them because ma parents arrive home tardy . my p.e class we dont do anything except stretch >.< Anyways usually after school i would go and receive a subway sandwich than walk home. is walking home a good exercise? sometimes i feel sore in my legs because its about an hour walk. what are some exercises i can do in bed? or when im watching tv with my siblings? i used to be a dancer and i was in good shape but i had to quit cuz of no time :( i was thinking do they have videos of like dance lessons or sumthn like ballet on the internet? sum dance exercises? ugh what are things not to eat? i really wanna lose weight in my inner thighs and i need to before i leave for my trip to hawaii in the end of march! thanks 4 help!

Open Question: 12 year old Girl Birthday Party Ideas?
My daughter is turning 12 in Febuary, but we have to push it back to march (Due to our trip to Hawaii). It's very icy up here in Canada so anything outside might not work. She wants to invite around 10 girls. We can't have it at our home because we're renovating. And i'm very stuck! Any ideas on what to do? She's VERY Girly, likes pink, justin bieber, loves movies and has co-stared in a few. Is there any party that would fit her personality? Thank you everyone for taking your time to read this! Resolved Question: Are U.S. Military overpaid?
I am currently going for a marketing degree. I have enough money from a big inheritence to start my possess business. In school I meet a lot of students who currently and formerly served the army and the navy. The benefits they told me sounds very attractive. 20,000 dollar enlistment bonuses, monthly allowances and salaries, discount benefits, deployment tax free income, ect. People say its better to join the military when you have a degree because you can sign up for being an officer which gives you more pay and respect also you can pass down your G.I. bill benefits to your kids when they go to school. Infrantry is not for me but I could look myself doing administration work for the army or airforce I'm just not sure if basic training is really worth it though. Also some of the jobs that comes with big bonuses sounds really fun like going in a submarine or flying a helecopter. Also you have the chance to live on base in a foreign country like Germany or nice places like Hawaii. I live in Honolulu and its really expensive but the military who are stationed here live on base and are taken care of. Taking an economics class I learned that most of the U.S. budget goes to our military service not other basic needs such as education, health and infrastructure. Is the money you make from your service really worth it? I am not planning on joining. I am just curious if the military men are paid fairly for their work. They mentioned every there benefits but at what cost? is the amount of work they put in really worth what they are getting back? In the Philippines people assume you are wealthy if you are in the u.s. army because in their country they don't receive the same benefits as american soldiers. According to my econ class most of our tax revenue goes to military fundings compared to health care and education. I agree that lawyers and business men is the way to go if I want to be overpaid and thats what I am going for.

Resolved Question: Ladies/Men: If marriage was abolished, there would be no divorce...?
Could this be the solution to the high divorce rate ? Ladies, just think of every the benefits of abolishing marriage, no big expensive weddings, no spending the few dollars you both have on an extravagant wedding that nobody remembers after 3 months. No spending money on feeding a bunch of freeloaders. Think of every the headaches saved by not going through the stress of preparing for a wedding, every the anxiety women go through prior to the wedding ! Instead, how about just getting married at the court, fill out some papers, pay the low fee, and go on a grand vacation, go to Europe, Hawaii or some other exotic place in the world ! I think it's a great idea...!!! And best of every, if the marriage doesn't work out as the odds prove, no big expensive divorce to go through....!

Resolved Question: How do I tell my friends I don't want to go for spring break with them?
My friends and I were planning to go to Hawaii for Spring break. But because it was too expensive and I couldn't afford it, they decided to change plans. Now, we're looking for deals in Miami instead. I've told them that I couldn't afford it and that's why they changed plans to Miami instead of Hawaii. At first, we were finding really affordable deals for Miami, something I can afford. But now every of that is disregarded and they're going for expensive ones :/ I cannot afford it. Why is it so difficult to understand that? And I've already told them that, I don't look why I should keep mentioning it. Myself and another pal would rather go elsewhere cheaper but ditching them would be mean. How do we do it without hurting our friendship?

Open Question: Citizens against government waste: where's the pork?
Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW) puts out what they call the Pig Book every year. The 2011 one isn't out yet, but here are some facts about 2010. (Remember, this is pork as defined by CAGW.) Did you know that $51 per person nationally would pay for the pork? That is the per capita average for the nation. If every person in Hawaii paid $251 they would have paid for their pork. If every person in Wyoming paid $12.28, they would have paid for their pork. If every person in the red states paid $54, they would have paid for the pork that red states got. If every person in a blue state paid $46, they would have paid for the pork that blue states got. (Keep in mind that states with smaller populations have fewer people to pay for whatever pork comes their way, and that the opposite is true for states with big populations) Did you know that the top five states for pork per capita, in order, are Hawaii, North Dakota, West Virginia, and Arkansas. The lowest, in order, are Wyoming, Minnesota, Arizona, Idaho, and Tennessee. I was surprised, actually, that figures seemed to even out pretty much. I was also surprised at how low the figure was on a per capita basis. It seemed to me that the states could pay their possess way on these projects more easily than I thought. The two biggest areas for pork were agriculture, defense, and homeland security
