So I'm in my first year of an LLB degree in Law, and coursework is due next week, but im a bit stuck, We've been given this question, and im a little confused on a few things. The question is as follows: "Justin Case made a booking for a two week holiday in Hawaii for himself and his (then) girlfriend Sadie Word, with Gottogo Holidays Ltd. At the time of booking at his local travel agent, details of the contract were shown to Justin. The booking contract was long and somewhere close the end it contained the following clause: ‘In consideration of this bargain price, Gottogo Holidays, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right, up to one week before the commencement of the holiday, to substitute a holiday at a different venue.’ Justin was impatient and agreed to the booking without bothering to read every the terms. Confirmation of Justin's booking and his holiday details arrived in the post a few days later. Ten days before the holiday was due to start, Gottogo’s representative telephoned Justin saying; "Sorry, we can't do Hawaii, it'll have to be Vancouver instead." below protest, Justin agreed to substitute Vancouver for Hawaii. However it rained for the whole holiday and they had an awful time. Justin and Sadie both wish to sue Gottogo for breach of contract. Advise them." Now I'm pretty sure he doesnt have a case, and I know this isnt an issue of Offer/Acceptance, but I'm still puzzled. Firstly, what is the main legal issue this is concerned with? Im thinking it could have something to do with exemption clauses and the like, but I'm not completely sure. Second, how does the doctrine of privity work with regards to Sadie also wishing to sue, since she was not involved in the contract persay, it was between Justin and the Company. We've got to write 2000 words, and basically every Im asking is what main issues should I cover in the essay (what are the legal issues this question brings up). Oh I should add that this is UK Law. Open Question: Why am i getting fat once I actually start exercising to P90X? :(?

Hello, I am a female fifteen year old and used to be only around 115 pounds, and 5'9". I've never been really athletic before, except for gym every now and then. I've been skinny my whole life, and have never complained about my body before, but since there's a band trip to Hawaii next November, I decided to do some workouts just to gain some muscle and look even better than i did before. (I'm not trying to sound vain or whatnot, im just trying to let you know how I was.) After doing the P90X workout video for a week, I've gained fat around my stomach. I know this is fat because I can pinch it outwards almost like a belly roll way more than I used to. Also, when i sit i have more belly rolls too, and my jeans and shirts fit a bit tighter. (jeans are more than just a bit tighter.) This is really frustrating because I've worked REALLY difficult, and now I look worse. Please help me, I want to know what could be causing this. Also, I don't eat any junk food (junk food to me is any majorly processed food) OR soda... and bring my lunch to school instead of eating their nasty stuff..so yea. once again, please help. I'm dying inside :'(

I am having trouble choosing. My husband and I are already married though the court and want to receive married though our chuch? The problem is...my husband doesn't care either way....we can either have a full blown out wedding with every the family and full reception or we can have a tiny wedding with our immediate family members and go on a honeymoon to Hawaii for 4-5 days. Open Question: What to do to make my dad's 50th (tomorrow!!) birthday special when I'm out of the country?

It's my dad's 50th birthday..tomorrow. My sister's and I haven't gotten him anything. I'm 20 and studying abroad in Ireland, so I'm not going to be there and I don't really have a lot of spare cash. I know we've completely waited to the last minute, but to be honest I've been caught up in stuff here nd totally forgot. My sister's didn't say anything either. The one's still in high school, while the other works for a cruise line in Hawaii so she's not home either. None of us have a lot of money to spare. My parents are divorced, and we havent lived with him since we were little, but he's still a big part of our lives. My moms no help obviously. I don't know what to do. I know any gifts I receive or things I do will probably have to wait til I receive home in May, but what can I do to make his day special from where I am? My mom's 50th was last year and we got her a laptop, but she never uses it. We didn't toss a party for her and wont toss one for my dad bc they honestly don't have that many close friends. Info about dad: he works with computers, really big into electronics, movies (has a huge dvd colection, so i never know for sure if he has one i'm gonna buy for him or not), big hobby is photography, into star trek, jonny west, buffy, star wars, charmed, chess, doesnt like animals, but used to have salt water fish when we were very very young.

I need to receive to Honolulu airport and I am trying to avoid paying $60 each way for cab fares. My starting point is Mililani Town. Open Question: Would a Carfax even pull up if the car was totalled?

January of last year my sister totalled our 03 4Runner. At least my parents say it was totalled. But to me looked like it could be repaired. The car went away and we got a new one, yet they still keep the keys from the 4Runner and still have every single thing in the file. I ask them multiple questions about the keys and they instantly change the subject or say " Because ". I just looked up the car on carfax but couldn't pay to receive the whole thing so I couldnt look if it said totalled or not, but there was still a carfax with its color and everything. We also just got back from hawaii and I got some car stickers there and my dad let me put them on his 06 outback since they're telling me I receive it but they were both like " plans might change so maybe you should keep them " so I did it anyways. And I turn 16 soon. Im confused. I might be totally wrong but its still an idea that I think it wasn't really totalled and they're going to surprise me with it. What do you think?

Open Question: Is it possible to lose more than 2lbs of pure fat a week?

I'm going on a vacation to Hawaii to visit my family and friends in 3 weeks, I haven't seen any of them in over a year and want to make a good impression. I'm 6'2" and weigh 210 with about 18% body fat, my goal is to lose fat and gain muscle as quick as possible in 3 weeks. For the last week, I've been running 3-4 miles everyday when i wake up and again before I go to snooze, and lifting weights 3 days a week. My diet consists of about 5oz of plain tuna and 8 oz's of orange juice for breakfast and dinner and about 10 egg whites for lunch. I have a scoop of nitro tech hardcore for my morning and dinner snack and 1 cup of carrots for my lunch snack. In addition to that, I also take a multi vitamin, hydroxycut hardcore X and drink about 10 glasses of water a day. In the end I usually take in about 140-160 grams of protein and about 1000 calories a day. Will I be fine if I continue with my current schedule? Some friends of mine told me a forumla for calculating how many calories I need to maintain my current weight, which would be about 2100 calories and since I'm only taking in 1000 I would be burning 100 right off the bat. Combine that with the 7-8 miles I run a day and the other activites, I would think it would be possible to burn more than 2 pounds of fat a week. But like I said, I don't know how reliable my friends formula is.

Open Question: Were Gunnar get married anyway, but if we do it before I change military commands, are there more benefits?

Me and my girlfriend were in talks of getting engaged soon and getting married around december. But I'm wondering if we just receive married and not have a big ceremony, just receive legally married , would we receive any more or extra money from the military before switching commands? We are slihtly worried that she won't be able to arrive with to my next station unless we receive married. We were goon to any way, but what would be the monetary benefits if any? Resolved Question: Which is hawaii island is better for a honeymoon couple?

We are looking to stay 4-5 days one island only! Don't know what month, our scedule is very flexible. Money wise...we don't have tight budget, but then we are not wealthy. 3 star and over hotel/resort would work as long as it has the best crystal clear, white sandy beach/oh and clean hotel/resort with bar, pool, spa. This will be a one time life opportinuty for us. We are looking for a beautiful beach, white sand preferably. I adore waterfalls, where alot is green. Seeing the whales would be nice, snorking is an intrest, not into kayaking, hiking. We want more of a relaxation place. Crowds don't bother us unless it's over crowed with alot...I mean a whole lot of tourists. Night life is somewhat important, as far as bar hopping...not so much into the clubs. oh and somewhere close shopping, (souvineers) I think I got everything that we are intrested in! we need some insight of people that have been there.Thanks in advance.
